2. test phase FAST
LOGSOL development project FAST enters the next test phase!
This year we continued the research and development project together with ZIGPOS GmbH and Sciota GmbH. FAST stands for Industrial Truck Analysis System and is a completely battery-based localization system for industrial trucks (in- and outdoor) with an accuracy of less than 1 m.
For a further field test we have started to install the necessary infrastructure and to position anchor points. The scope of the field test includes the illumination of a total of 15,000 m² with various storage technology (e.g. pallet racks, cantilever for long goods, narrow aisle, wide aisle, block storage) including open spaces and outdoor areas.
The test phase lasts 4 weeks and pursues the objectives:
- Functional and integration tests to determine accuraciesMonitoring of technical hurdles and, if necessary, acceptance problems
- Determination of setup times
- Monitoring of maturities and probabilities of default
- Data generation for first evaluations
- Identification of optimization potentials and derivation of measures
Data acquisition has now been running for 20 days - that corresponds to 480 hours of analyzed data. During this time we have already been able to determine 126,000 measuring points. In total there are more than 140 anchor points, which provide us with the measured values. For our field test 20 industrial trucks are in use.
We are excited about the test results and look forward to the continuous development of FAST.
