On September 10, 2020, the German Logistics Association (Bundesvereinigung Logistik e. V.) held the SPARE PARTS LOGISTICS 2020 FORUM at the Alte Schöller factory in Nuremberg under the motto "Increasing efficiency - designing for sustainability".
The SPARE PARTS LOGISTICS FORUM once again offered a central meeting point for specialists with similar interests in the field of spare parts logistics. The requirements within the spare parts logistics are often extremely complex and time-critical, therefore it is always necessary to manage the balancing act between the rapidly growing variety of parts and variants and a short-term delivery as sustainable - efficient - economical as possible.
The variety of topics covered in the lectures was large and ranged from digitization to project lessons learned to increasing sustainability. Mr. Martin Böcker (Deputy Head of Spare Parts Logistics, Zeppelin Baumaschinen GmbH) and Mr. Martin Schöne (Authorized Representative / Head of Logistics Planning, LOGSOL GmbH) gave a detailed project insight into the restructuring project implemented at Zeppelin Baumaschinen GmbH. In the attached presentation - from project planning to project completion - the course of a successful planning project is presented. Also the prospect of a continuous project development with future improvement potential was sufficiently discussed.
