The logistics year starts early - don't miss the LogiMAT 2019
LOGSOL informs about trends in container planning and container management: Hall 8//Stand C40
In 2019, LogiMAT will push ahead with its status as an annual kick-off fair more than ever: around a month earlier, from 19 to 21 February, the exhibition halls in Stuttgart will once again focus to intralogistics. LogiMAT visitors can find out about developments in container planning and software-aided container management at LOGSOL's stand C40 in Hall 8. For the first time, LOGSOL will be presenting the newly designed, intuitive user interface of the BinMan container management system. Also interesting: LOGSOL's specialist presentation on Tuesday, 4 p.m. in Forum D: "Minimizing shrinkage & damage - how container management works with cloud software".
Once upon a time, there was the wooden crate: Trend topic: container planning
Where 20 years ago a simple wooden box was sufficient to transport components, today a precisely fitting load carrier made of advanced materials is used. But why is so much effort invested into developing containers? High quality and safety requirements, optimum space utilization, automation, new technology and complex transport concepts – today the path from the first component to the perfect final product goes through several intermediate stations, some of which are far apart. Customized (reusable) container solutions are used for the transport and storage of (high-quality) components. At the 17th LogiMAT, LOGSOL will be advising on possibilities and challenges in container planning as well as among other things.
(Reusable) container monitoring and coordination with BinMan
At the LogiMAT we present the new user interface of BinMan for the first time:
"In recent years we have further developed BinMan in its booking mechanisms and internal business logic according to the latest standards and set new trends in the field of container management. However, our most important interface to the users - the BinMan GUI - only underwent minor adjustments. Since 2018 we have been providing the completely new BinMan user interface design, which continues to offer users a comfortable working environment and supports faultless, intuitive software usage.
