Master thesis completed: "Investigation of the contribution of a modern supply chain to organizational resilience".

Our Professional Logistics Planner, Niklas Hofmann, studied "Industrial Engineering" for 2 years part-time. On Friday, he defended his master thesis on the topic "Investigation of the contribution of a modern supply chain to organizational resilience" and thus successfully completed his studies. We are very happy with our colleague!

But what is the final topic about?

"In today's closely networked economy due to globalization, traditional management approaches, which are based on a stable state of the network, are being challenged by chaotic external influences and turbulent changes. Especially recently, the world has been turned upside down by, for example, the COVID19 pandemic or the Ever Given accident in the Suez Canal. Managing the risks of an uncertain future with unpredictable disruptions is a challenge that requires organizational resilience. " (Excerpt Exposé, Niklas Hofmann)
