"Are you digging a data grave or are you already digging into the data treasure trove?"

On Thursday, 08.09.2022, the "11th FORUM TECHNICAL LOGISTICS" - short: FoTLog" - took place in Dresden. For 10 years, annual speakers from different cities gather in one place and present expert lectures on current projects as well as research work in logistics.

LOGSOL @ FoTLog

We were also there: Together with Dr. Franz Schulze (Technical University of Dresden), our division manager for logistics software, Dr. David Wustmann, presented the topic "Are you digging a data grave or are you already digging in the data treasure?".
In doing so, they illustrated how AI (artificial intelligence) can be used in logistics today and what, above all, needs to be taken into account. After all, a large amount of data does not simultaneously mean that AI works particularly well. What is important is that the right data is determined so that meaningful results can be achieved in the end.

The feedback from the participants was exclusively positive!
We are curious to see how things will develop in this field of AI and what automation methods - especially in logistics - await us in the future.
