The initiative THE BUSINESS DOERS goes into the next round - LOGSOL will be once again a participant in 2020

This year LOGSOL is again one of the supporters of THE BUSINESS DOERS campaign and represents the initiative together with the LOGSOL logistics hero Bastian Forejt 

 

The Federal Logistics Association (BVL) had set itself a major goal with the initiative THE BUSINESS DOERS: to improve the image of the logistics industry! To this day, the perception of the logistics sector in society is distorted and the knowledge about the industry is very low. However, the logistics sector is an integral part of the German economy and is one of the third largest economic sectors in Germany. But as important as the industry is, the logistics sector still lacks the next generation. The initiative THE BUSINESS DOERS is intended to shed a completely new light on the world of logistics, because today modern logistics offers diverse and especially future-proof career opportunities for young people.

 

For the implementation of THE BUSINESS DOERS campaign, the BVL was looking for companies to support the initiative. Hence, the necessary advertising prints should be financed and the range of the campaign increased. LOSGOL GmbH was one of the supporters last year because the potential shortage of young people is also a very important topic here. 14 logistics heroes were nominated from all of the participants of the campaign to represent the logistics industry as authentic ambassadors. LOGSOL senior logistics planner, Bastian Forejt, received the title of logistics hero in 2019 and was therefore the focus of the campaign. His story, as well as the stories of the 13 other logistics heroes, was spread on social media channels.

 

But have the efforts of THE BUSINESS DOERS campaign paid off? The answer is: YES!

 

The year 2019 was a complete success for the campaign. Last year, the landing page, www.die-wirtschaftsmacher.de, was visited by more than 82,000 users and reached over 176 million people through press and public relations. In total, the initiative won over 100 supporters.

 

The BVL would like to continue its successes in 2020 and make even more progress with the campaign. LOGSOL is again part of the initiative as a supporter in 2020 and would like to go more public with the logistics hero, Bastian Forejt, in order to raise the image of the industry.
