Workshop Week @ LOGSOL
**3-day training week filled with exciting presentations and workshops**
As in so many offices, the Dresden LOGSOL office has been rather quiet in recent months, as many employees have been working in their home offices. Unfortunately, our last training week was also cancelled. However, due to the relaxations we were able to hold our 3-day training last week and the reunion joy of the colleagues was huge! During the year, many LOGSOL employees are on the road nationally and internationally for project-related reasons.
But what was waiting for our employees during this year's training week?
The first day started in the Dresden office with the topics "AMR" and "Automotive OEM BU". The training "BU Automotive OEM" was especially an exchange of knowledge between the colleagues, led by our Principal Hendrik Geißler. By means of knowledge questions and short impulse presentations the LOGSOLers exchanged their collected know-how from past projects.
In the workshop "AMR" (Automotive mobile robot) the LOGSOL colleagues Marcel Richter (Professional Logistics Planner) and David Betsch (Logistics Planner) presented our new LOGSOL addition: The LD 60/90 robot. In addition to the theoretical part of the workshop, the colleagues were able to try out the driverless transport system themselves in the second part. In the coming weeks we will report more about our new LOGSOL member.
On the second day, a so-called "Touch Day" at the syskomp Group on site in Medingen was on the agenda for our LOGSOL colleagues. The companies belonging to this group presented their products, forklifts, AGVs and production solutions to the participants. Of course, our colleagues were also allowed to test and drive the products and forklifts themselves.
Ever heard of an exoskeleton? On the third training day, Mrs. Kreil from the TU Dresden presented this technology. Afterwards, our colleagues Franziska Pohl, Senior Product Manager, and Maximilian Dörnbrack, Professional Product Manager, introduced the LOGSOers to the functions and application fields of our RoutMan.
Our training week was rounded off with our annual summer event. This year, our summer event was all about sports - based on our sporty project "LOGSOL Runs". Our colleagues were divided into a total of 8 teams of 6 people each and had to run through seven stations within three hours, such as biathlon simulator, shot out - radar measurement, tug of war, human kicker, etc.. In the end, Team "Zielfabrik & Co. KG" made it onto the winner's podium. But also for the small guests there were some activities like children's course, bouncy castle, waterslide, face painting and much more.
We are already looking forward to our next training week, which will probably take place at the beginning of 2022!
