Site development at SSV-Kroschke: LOGSOL supports successful expansion
Together with LOGSOL, SSV-Kroschke GmbH has taken an important step in the further development of its logistics structure. The aim of the project was to expand the existing Wutha-Farnroda site in such a way that a large quantity of items from another site could be efficiently integrated – while taking modern automation solutions into account.
Analysis and planning: the basis for efficient logistics integration
To begin with, a comprehensive analysis of the existing warehouse and shipping processes was on the agenda. Not only were current processes scrutinized, but scenarios were also simulated to determine how the integration of additional items would affect space requirements, material flows and distribution logic. At the same time, LOGSOL provided support in coordinating the necessary approvals, for example in the areas of fire protection and safety concepts.
Evaluation of variants and implementation of the preferred solution
In the next step, various development options were considered and evaluated in terms of feasibility and cost-effectiveness. The resulting preferred solution formed the basis for the detailed planning and technical implementation. Particular attention was paid to the integration of an AutoStore system – an automated small parts warehouse that not only saves space, but also significantly increases the speed and efficiency of warehouse operations.
Future-proof logistics center with AutoStore technology
Today, the Wutha-Farnroda site is home to a future-proof logistics center that is ideally prepared for further growth thanks to well thought-out planning, partnership-based cooperation and intelligent technology. Together with the LOGSOL team of experts, SSV-Kroschke was able to successfully realize the project. A perfect example of integrated site development with vision.
