RoutMan® Academy
For material flow planning in digital factory planning, the planning of route trains is an important component. RoutMan® is a very good solution for us for this planning task and, as SaaS, offers a software solution that is easy for us to use and maintain. Since the calculation models are all aligned with the relevant VDI guideline, the overall context of route planning can be taught very well first theoretically and then practically with RoutMan® using an industry example. Furthermore, we see a very good opportunity in the future to couple RoutMan® with VisTable and then to realize a continuous, holistic material flow and layout planning.

On completion of the project, the LOGSOL project team presented Hitachi Astemo Europe GmbH with a master plan for the future development options at the Roßwein site and a recommendation from the variants presented.
