Stadtwerke München: LOGSOL plans logistics for tram depot

The growing metropolis of Munich needs to expand its streetcar services. Stadtwerke München, Munich’s municipal utilities company, needs a new depot to service the rapidly growing streetcar fleet. Among other things, a parking facility for almost 100 vehicles, workshops and an administration building will be constructed on approximately ten hectares. The gradual commissioning is scheduled to be completed by 2034.

The first partial shutdown will be completed by 2027.
LOGSOL is responsible for the logistics planning for all three stages of project realization.

The experienced team was able to win the contract with a convincing planning concept for logistics issues including material flow and disposal concept.

We are looking forward to implementing this forward-looking project together with Stadtwerke München and thus making an important contribution to sustainable mobility in the Bavarian capital.
