On a growth course: LOGSOL’s office expansions

In 2023, LOGSOL has been through a long period of internal development and expansion. Because it’s well known that the number of employees always grows with a company. This mainly affected the Dresden, Chemnitz, and Leipzig sites and it quickly became clear – more space was needed!

Dresden

At the Dresden headquarters a great opportunity arose to expand the premises many times over – by adding a wing on the fourth floor at Glashütter Straße.

What’s new?

A total of 325 m² of office space was added on another level, which has been turned into five brand-new conference rooms. It also includes a gorgeous roof terrace with spectacular views of Dresden.

The first conversion measures started in June 2023. In addition to drywall construction, painting, and floor refinishing, new technology was also installed. Lighting and full air conditioning were retrofitted.

In September, it was finally time: The new conference level could be officially used. Thanks to the organized efforts and commitment of our Global Office Manager Josephin and our IT admins Tommy and Andreas, the move proceeded smoothly and in a structured manner. The new conference level was inaugurated with a shared barbecue on our terrace.

But the innovation level on the second floor was also remodeled and renovated. The first step in office restructuring was to divide up the former conference rooms to create a total of 14 new workstations. At the same time, a conversion of the air conditioning took place, and new blinds and lighting were installed.

Our colleagues in the Dresden office feel very comfortable in the new premises and are already actively using them.

Chemnitz

And it’s not just headquarters – the other LOGSOL locations are also affected by change and continuous growth. Since the acquisition of the Fabrik-ID employees in May 2022, the site has grown continuously and the Chemnitz office very quickly reached its spatial capacity limits. This illustrates once again the dynamic development of our team, so we wanted to create a new place that reflects not only the company vision, but also our team culture. This meant the need for a move.

Since May 1, 2023, LOGSOL has been using an office space of 430 m² in Chemnitz with 22 ergonomically equipped workstations.

Our new office at Bahnhofstraße 10 is much more than just a workplace!

The modern building concept includes barrier-free access and an underground parking garage with electric vehicle charging stations. The special charm of the open-plan office is characterized above all by the numerous balconies with picturesque views of Chemnitz city center. Our LOGSOLers have grown very fond of these. Especially since they offer a pleasant space for the occasional after-work barbecue in the summer.

Leipzig

Since February 2023, LOGSOL has also found a home in Leipzig. With a thriving economy, a lively cultural scene, and first-class infrastructure, the city is an ideal place to offer our logistics and factory planning and logistics software services.

Four workstations are now occupied at “Basislager Coworking Leipzig“. The office also boasts a roof terrace, so our LOGSOLers have the opportunity to enjoy a beautiful view and fresh air at any time.

Stuttgart & Nuremberg

Our location in Stuttgart has existed for over 10 years – our first external branch. But we have also been represented in Nuremberg for many years.

As the number of employees at both branches increases, spatial expansions are also being planned there.

Other LOGSOL locations

We have two additional locations nationally: Munich and Hamburg. This means that we are personally available to our customers in almost every region in Germany.

The expansion of our sites is not only a symbolic step in LOGSOL’s journey as a company, but also testament to our commitment to continuously foster growth and innovation.
